You chose to introduce yourself

You tell the birds who you are: a bear.

You tell the birds who your friend is: Rob (the squirrel).

You tell the birds that you are enjoying a nice day as a bear just as they are enjoying a nice day as hawks. The birds stare at you. Rob (the squirrel) jumps up and begins to say something, but you quiet him by brushing his mouth with your paw. You tell the birds that the sun is quite lovely today, and that your fur is nice and warm because of it.

You ask them if it warm up in the sky too.

They do not respond.

You ask them if mice are tasty.

They grow bored of your questions and flap their majestic wings to fly off. They leave.

You stare at them as they go. They look very beautiful from the ground.

You wonder if the wind bothers their eyes.

You choose to…

be a bear.
