Your trust in what has to be a psychotic turtle is what led to the baby bird’s demise. It is not entirely fair, since a turtle of such age and experience should be calm and wise and a lot slower with his jaws. Unfortunately, you were unable to stop his sudden violence, and with that, the baby bird is no more. You tried, however. You tried.
