It is not easy, but you continue to stay in the tree. There is no reason to, really. Nothing in the forest or the world is forcing you to, but maybe you are staying on principle. You made it up this tree, even by trickery, and you will leave when you have a good reason.

A bear can stay in a tree if it wants. There is nothing wrong with a bear even living in a tree. Trees, in many ways, are better than caves. More sunlight. More food to catch and eat. Leaves are nice. Breezes. You could even sleep through the winter up here. This could be a very nice existence.
