The turtle looks confused.

You place the bird in front of the turtle, near his mouth. He slowly reaches its face toward the bird. He sniffs at it.

He looks at you.

And then, with one violent snap, he crunches the baby bird with his mouth.

You had no idea turtles ate birds.

That is because they do not.

The turtle spits out the remains of the baby bird. It is mangled and sad looking. And very dead.
