You beg the turtle to tap into his infinite wisdom and come up with a suggestion to help you.
He asks why he is not allowed to simply see the bird.

The turtle takes a brief moment to reflect on the situation you have presented to him. He nods his head and mumbles something you cannot understand.
After what feels like an eternity, the turtle finally tells you to put the bird on his shell.
You are hesitant.
He nods at you. He looks confident in this advice.
You place the baby bird onto the turtle’s shell.
He mumbles again.
Then he tips his shell to the side, toward the river. The baby bird plummets into the rushing water. It is quickly and unceremoniously carried off.
You lose sight of it almost instantly.
