You realize your predicament is well out of your paws. There is nothing you can do. These owls will take you where they want you. You have to trust that they are not going to leave you in a pond or off a cliff. You have to trust that they will not drop you mid-flight just for fun. You have to trust another creature even though doing so very recently nearly led to your death.
The life of a bear is a difficult one, and occasionally you will need help. Sometimes that help will be a bunch of birds gripping your backside. The forest is filled with many things that will try to eat you. The world is filled with many things that will try to eat you. But assuming all things are going to eat you will lead to you eating yourself. Nobody wants to eat themselves. Not even bears. Not even fish, and they are delicious.
The owls let you go gently. You smack the floor of a rocky surface. You open your eyes. You are back in your cave. Before you can thank the owls, you hear their fierce flapping as they all venture out of your domain. They are probably tired. You wish you could offer them food. Maybe you can help an owl one day in exchange. You are a bear.
