You gather the mushrooms in your mouth, accidentally getting one too far into your mouth at the same time. You swallow it, assured that there is still plenty left for the baby bird. You run over to the baby bird and offer the mushrooms. It refuses. You try again. Again, it refuses. The food might be too big, so you mash up the mushrooms with your teeth.
