Using your tongue, you push the baby bird out of your mouth and onto the harsh ground. The tiny creature is barely able to move, let alone walk through the water that covers its feet. You are forced to watch as the baby bird struggles to swim its way through the tiny puddles.
For a moment, it tries to get back to you. It makes weak “Kweh” sounds as it tries to make its way toward you. You blow at it, the force of your face-wind making it push away from you.
Finally, the baby bird begins to wander away.
Soon, you are unable to even see it.
It is gone.
Hopefully, it is okay.
