You tuck your front and back paws underneath yourself and close your eyes. You try to convince yourself that all of the stinging and pinching and anger and fire are perfectly fine as they are and make for perfectly good environment in which to take a lovely, quiet nap.
You have to keep telling yourself that as the ants cover more and more of your body.
You drift off a bit as you feel them get into your ears and eyes. The fire of their hatred still radiates through your body, though.
It is not a great place to take a nap.
But you tell yourself the opposite as they get closer to your nose.
It is a perfectly good place to nap, you finally convince yourself.
Your delusion is almost enough to make you forget that you got ants in your nose.
